The main offices, classrooms and computer labs all lie within the Engineering Area of campus, located at the north and southeastern corners of Speedway and Dean Keeton (26th) Street.

The Campus Loop, West Campus, and Intramural Fields campus buses stop nearby, as do the city buses 5 (Woodrow), 22 (Chicon), 65 (Manchaca Flyer) and 100 (Airport Flyer). Check the Parking and Transportation site for more information on UT Shuttles
The J. J. Pickle Research Center Campus also holds buildings belonging to the College of Engineering. The Pickle Research Center provides access to the high-tech equipment and laboratories that enable our faculty and students to perform advanced research.
Directions to Campus
From Austin - Bergstrom International Airport
- Exit the Airport by turning left (west) onto HWY 71.
- Take the US 183 N ramp; keep right at the fork in the ramp.
- Merge onto Airport Boulevard.
- Turn left on Manor Road.
- Veer to the right; Manor Road turns into 26th Street (also called Dean Keeton Street).
- Go under IH 35.
- Cross Red River and East Campus Drive.
- Turn left on San Jacinto Street; park in parking garage on your left.
- To walk to Ernest Cockrell Jr. Hall (ECJ), cross San Jacinto and proceed north to Dean Keeton Street. Turn left at Dean Keeton. Walk down the ramp that leads to a set of double doors.
- Enter ECJ through double doors. Follow hallway to elevators. Building directories are located in the basement and on the first and second floors.
Via MoPac (Route 1)
- Take Windsor Road exit and drive east.
- Windsor Road becomes 24th Street after you cross Lamar.
- Cross over Guadalupe Street.
- Turn left on Whitis Avenue in front of guard booth.
- Turn right on Dean Keeton ( 26th Street).
- Drive through traffic light at Speedway.
- Turn right onto San Jacinto Boulevard (enter campus).
- Turn left into entry of Parking Garage.
- To walk to Ernest Cockrell Jr. Hall (ECJ), cross San Jacinto and proceed north to Dean Keeton Street. Turn left at Dean Keeton. Walk down the ramp that leads to a set of double doors.
- Enter ECJ through double doors. Follow hallway to elevators. Building directories are located in the basement and on the first and second floors.
Via IH-35 South
- Stay left as IH-35 splits into upper and lower decks. Take lower deck.
- Exit 32nd Street/Dean Keeton Street
- Move to the right lane.
- Go through the light at 32nd Street.
- Dean Keeton (26th Street) turn is just past pink hotel and Tex-Mex restaurant. Turn right onto Dean Keeton (26th Street).
- Cross over Red River and East Campus Drive.
- Turn left on San Jacinto Boulevard (enter campus).
- Turn left into entry of Parking Garage
- To walk to Ernest Cockrell Jr. Hall (ECJ), cross San Jacinto and proceed north to Dean Keeton Street. Turn left at Dean Keeton. Walk down the ramp that leads to a set of double doors.
- Enter ECJ through double doors. Follow hallway to elevators. Building directories are located in the basement and on the first and second floors.
Via IH-35 North
- IH-35 will split into upper and lower levels. Stay in second lane from the left to get on the lower level.
- As the highway changes into the lower level, you will now be in the right lane.
- Exit 26th Street or Dean Keeton.
- Exit ramp is short. Move to the right lane as soon as possible.
- You will see a sign for LBJ Library with a hard right turn symbol. Take this exit on your right and curve around to the right. This will take you under IH-35 and onto Dean Keeton (26th Street).
- Cross over Red River and East Campus Drive (now Robert Dedman Drive).
- The next light is San Jacinto Boulevard. ECJ is on the SW corner of San Jacinto and Dean Keeton.
- Turn left on San Jacinto Boulevard (enter campus).
- Turn left into entry of Parking Garage
- To walk to Ernest Cockrell Jr. Hall (ECJ), cross San Jacinto and proceed north to Dean Keeton Street. Turn left at Dean Keeton. Walk down the ramp that leads to a set of double doors.
