Comments from Past GE TA's
The best part of GE is definitely the students. Interacting with them these past two months has been a constant joy — they're just so enthusiastic! It's great to be teaching to people who want to learn.
GE TA's are not just instructors, but also role models and mentors for many students. …Students are grateful to have someone who is knowledgeable and older, but also more approachable than a professor to ask questions about the subject, academics, engineering careers, and even graduate school.
I really enjoy interacting with the students. I love when they ask questions, and I can see the material click for them. …It makes me feel like they need and appreciate my teaching.
I enjoy watching a student understand a concept that dumbfounded them 5 minutes ago.
