Transferring out of the Cockrell School of Engineering

Internal Transfer from the Cockrell School of Engineering to another UT college/school:

A student who has completed more than 45 semester hours of college credit must present a University grade point average of at least 2.00 to be eligible for transfer to another College/School within UT Austin. Some majors require averages higher than 2.00. Go to the Dean's Office of the new major and inquire about the application process, minimum requirements, and deadlines.
