Important information regarding the IEE course equivalency database.
This database was created to assist you in planning your study abroad experience.
- Please note that the information within the database is for your reference only and you still need to meet with your undergraduate advisor to receive official approval.
- This is a live document and is constantly being updated. Please check back periodically to be sure the courses you wish to take have not changed.
- You are responsible for going to the website of the host university to be sure the course you intend to take is offered the semester you wish to go. Not all courses are offered every semester.
- You are responsible for making sure the courses you wish to take are in English, if needed. This is especially important for the semester program in Mexico.
- You must see your advisor about the courses you wish to take abroad and what equivalencies you are expecting here.
- All courses that you take abroad through IEE count towards your GPA and count as in-residence credit
- If courses that you require are not listed in this database please contact the IEE Office to discuss your options.
- Be flexible with the courses that you want to take abroad. Sometimes your schedule may conflict or the course may not be offered that semester. Find as many course equivalencies as you can to be safe.
- Non-engineering courses are not listed here. Students must with their advisor and the advisor for the non-engineering department for approval. For example, students wishing to gain equivalency for a Spanish course must see the Spanish Department for approval.
