The University of Texas at Austin College of Engineering was established in 1894. Since then, the College, now named the Cockrell School of Engineering, has graduated more than 60,000 alumni, all of whom have made significant contributions to the theory and practice of engineering in Texas and around the globe.

50th Reunion

The 50th Reunion is hosted annually by the Texas Exes. During the reunion, alumni are able to visit the campus, reconnect with fellow classmates, share stories and tour their home department within engineering.

Distinguished Alumni

The highest honors the Cockrell School of Engineering bestows on its alumni are the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Awards, given to Distinguished Engineering Graduates and Outstanding Young Engineering Graduates.
