The University of Texas at Austin College of Engineering was established in 1894. Since then, the College, now named the Cockrell School of Engineering, has graduated more than 60,000 alumni, all of whom have made significant contributions to the theory and practice of engineering in Texas and around the globe.
Our alumni are what make the Cockrell School of Engineering one of the top schools in the nation. We invite you to get involved.
The 50th Reunion is hosted annually by the Texas Exes. During the reunion, alumni are able to visit the campus, reconnect with fellow classmates, share stories and tour their home department within engineering.
The highest honor the Cockrell School of Engineering can bestow on its alumni is the title "Distinguished Engineering Graduate" and "Outstanding Young Engineering Graduate."
