Tom began his career in high tech after meeting his future wife at The University of Texas at Austin and following her to Silicon Valley. He joined Hewlett-Packard, where he worked as a process engineer and developed skills in the manufacturing of computers. Feeling the need for adventure, he left the company in 1987 and joined Sun Microsystems as they created the workstation market. At Sun, Tom worked in program management, engineering management and procurement management. During this time, he also developed an interest in supply base management and an addiction to dynamic environments.

Dr. Cathy Fulton founded NetQoS in 1999 to provide network management software to Global 2,000 companies. As chief technology officer and executive vice president of products, she helped grow the company from inception to a 250-person strong global team offering half a dozen unique products engineered from its two development centers. By the time the profitable company was acquired by CA Inc. in 2009, it had recorded more than $50 million in annual revenue and had more than 1,000 enterprise customers, including more than half of the Fortune 50.

Richard Folger earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Petroleum Land Management and Finance in 1981 and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering in 1984 from The University of Texas at Austin. He also holds a graduate degree in banking from Southern Methodist University.

Richard began his professional career with First City National Bank, where he became senior vice president managing the Energy Lending Division. In 1992, he joined Warren Equipment Co.'s subsidiary, Compressor Systems Inc., as vice president of business development focusing on acquisitions and developing processes for the manufacturing of engineered products.

Fariborz Maseeh is founder and managing principal of Picoco LLC, an investment management firm that invests in various assets and manages several hedge funds. Fariborz also is the sole founder and president of The Massiah Foundation, a charitable organization investing in transformational situations for broad public benefit.

He is a worldwide recognized expert in the field of micro-electro mechanical systems (MEMS), and was the sole founder and chief executive officer of IntelliSense. It's here that Fariborz successfully created the first custom design, development and manufacturing operation of MEMS devices.

James (Jim) Metzger has worked in commercial construction for more than 45 years, and has been president and chief executive officer of Houston-based Metzger Construction since 1986.

After earning a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 1962, Jim worked as a surveyor, field engineer and project engineer on railroad construction, building construction, chemical plant expansion, a lock and dam on the Arkansas River and a nuclear power plant in California.

After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin in 1961, Bill joined Diamond Alkali Co. and worked as a process engineer in Houston for three years. In 1964, he joined Houston Research Institute, a consulting firm, doing design engineering for the process industry.

Bill then formed Ventech Engineers Inc. in 1967 by creating a new business model to recycle process instrumentation. Over the years, Bill has guided the growth of Ventech, which is headquartered in Pasadena, Texas and operates offices in Manila and Moscow.
