Searching for the perfect solution to year-end giving?
Here's the answer - how about your College? Send a charitable gift to the Friends of Alec Annual Giving Program by December 31 and help yourself to a tax deduction in April. Five minutes now could save you hundreds of dollars later. And you get more than just tax savings - your gift will also help the prestige and reputation of UT Engineering.
"U.S. News and World Report" ranks colleges and universities on seven basic "measures of excellence." One of these measures is alumni giving, specifically "…the average percentage of alumni who gave to their school during the (previous two) academic years…" Right now, UT Engineers rank low compared with other engineering alumni groups within Texas*:
Rice 36%
Texas Tech 26%
Texas A&M 22%
UT Austin 13%
A charitable gift now could save you money and save UT Engineering's pride! Make your gift online today. Be sure to direct your gift to the College of Engineering and show your support today!
