ORDER OF THE ENGINEER ALUMNI RING CEREMONY
Location/Time: 6:30pm, ACES Avaya Auditorium
(see map)
The Order of the Engineer tradition began at the College in 1992 by offering graduating seniors the chance to participate in this ceremony. Since then, over 900 engineering graduates have joined the Order. The purpose of the Order is to stimulate formal public recognition of engineers in the United States through two basic principles: (1) the primary purpose of engineering is service to the public, and (2) all members of the engineering profession share a common bond.
Join other engineers and UT alumni in making a commitment to your profession by participating in this formal ceremony. You will receive an Engineer's Ring that is to be worn on the pinkie finger of your working hand as well as an official certificate.
Friday, November 14
