Dean Fenves honoring Michael T. Suffredini, BS ASE 1983, Manager, International Space Station, NASA
The highest honor the Cockrell School of Engineering can bestow on one of its own is the title "Distinguished Engineering Graduate" and "Outstanding Young Engineering Graduate." These are graduates who have presented themselves to the world as consummate professionals, dedicated engineers, and strong supporters of engineering education.
In 2009, we will honor our Distinguished Engineering Graduates (DEG) and our Outstanding Young Engineering Graduates (OYEG) at the Engineers of Distinction Ceremony, scheduled for the weekend of December 4-5, 2009.
