Live and study in world-famous Tokyo. Program highlights include academic and industry visit and group work & presentations with both UT and local Japanese university students. The course carries a Global Cultures Flag and is open to ALL majors at UT.

Dr. Brian Korgel has created two successful nanotechnology companies based on his research. He has a passion for teaching and fostering international exchange. He holds the T. Brockett Hudson Professorship in Chemical Engineering and is the Director of the Industry/University Cooperative Research Center on Next Generation Photovoltaics. He was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2018. Election to NAE is among the highest professional distinctions that can be given to an engineer.
