The Campaign for Texas
A Vision for Engineering Leadership

The vision for the Cockrell School of Engineering is to become a global center for technology innovation, education and entrepreneurship to address the world's greatest problems concerning energy, healthcare and sustainability. Truly innovative ideas are difficult to develop, complex to unravel and demand the highest caliber of talent focused on their solutions. On October 17 the university embarked on an eight-year Campaign for Texas to raise $3 billion. The Cockrell School's portion, $350 million, will help us grow our leadership position in engineering education and research. All gifts through 2014 will contribute toward our goal for "Engineering Leadership." Funds invested through The Campaign for Texas, will provide the Cockrell School of Engineering with high caliber talent, modern facilities, and assets to produce breakthrough research. Join us on this journey to become a leader in engineering programs across the world.
