About
Development of the Nanoscale Properties and Materials web site was initiated by Dr. Miguel Jose Yacaman of the Chemical Engineering Department at The University of Texas at Austin. The site is intended to be used primarily by undergraduate and graduate students in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, and related fields that deal with nanotechnology.
The web site was designed and developed by the Faculty Innovation Center, which supports instructional innovation at UT’s College of Engineering by providing instructional, media, and faculty development services. Initial content for the web site was provided by Dr. Jose Reyes-Gasga, Sumarlin Goh, Diego Gonzalez Joven, and Alberto Padilla.
The site was launched in the summer of 2005 with the expectation that new content will continue to be added over time.
