The Interactive Learning Modules contain a pdf statement that can be printed from Adobe Acrobat and studied off-line. The modules contain an octave script that performs the calculations that are run during an on-line simulation; the on-line simulations are organizied differently. There is also a matlab version of the simulation that you can view and download if you are more comfortable reading matlab scripts than octave scripts. The on-line simulations execute octave script files.
To get the best learning experience from them, read the problem statement completely and then run the simulation to answer the questions. These modules are intended to help students on the homework and to reinforce lecture/text concepts. The simulations take between a few seconds and 2 minutes to compile and run, so you may need to be patient on a few of them.
NOTE: The Interactive Learning Modules require Internet Explorer as the interface and browser.
