Chemical Engineering Graduate Office Information

Students applying MUST follow both the university and department procedure.

University Procedures

  1. Fill out on-line application
  2. Texas Common Application

  3. Have your GRE scores sent to the following address by the ETS testing center, University code 6882.

  4. For international students, a TOEFL is required even if you have received a degree in the U.S.
  5. Send sealed transcript of all Universities attended to

  6. Your references will receive an email with instructions on how to electronically submit their reference letter.
  7. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure all documents are received by the GIAC (Graduate International Admissions Center).
  8. The department will not make a decision on admission until the GIAC receives all requested documents.

  4. Ask your references to send a pdf copy of their reference letter to t@che.utexas.edu.
  5. Suppy the on-line Statement of purpose and email to t@che.utexas.edu
