Technical
Electives

The degree plan includes
a set of four courses that comprise the technical area option, two of which
must be in chemical engineering, a chemistry elective that includes a laboratory,
and an advanced mathematics, physics, chemistry or biology elective. These
electives total 19 credit hours.
The technical courses should be selected in consultation with a faculty
advisor and must be approved by the undergraduate advisor if they do not
appear on the lists published in the Course Catalog. The courses listed
do not constitute an exclusive list but illustrate the types of courses
that are generally suitable.
