The software on the PC includes: MS Office Suite, Realplayer and Windows Media Player. You'll find a small cable near the computer monitor labeled USB Flash Drive. Use this cable for USB pluggable devices like memory drives also called JumpDrives, ThumbDrives or PenDrives (Figure 8).
On the middle of the touch screen you will see the PREVIEW IMAGE, which can be brought to full screen by touching the window. Touching the full-screen image will return the PREVIEW IMAGE to the original location (upper right corner) of the main control display (Figure 9).

Press the LAPTOP button to view the laptop - Connect your laptop to the LAPTOP VGA cable located on top of the workstation surface. Activate the laptop video output by pressing the Fn and F8 keys simultaneously. (see illustrations below)
IMPORTANT POINT: The function keys vary on different laptops. A blank or blue screen with the 'No-Input' message indicates you may need to press the function key on your laptop keyboard that lets you display to an external monitor. Try holding down the Fn and F8 key (F7 on some laptops) simultaneously to send the signal to the projector. Using this key combination lets you toggle between the LCD screen and the projector or display on both screens at the same time. Allow a few seconds for the projector to "sync" after changing the setting. VERY IMPORTANT POINT! Make sure the laptop display settings are at 1024 x 768 to match the projector specifications. High laptop resolution settings may result in image distortions (images that are compressed, stretched, partially cut or don't fill the display area). Insert DVD into external CD/DVD drive to view DVD - Insert the disk into the external CD/DVD drive located under the workstation table top and above the keyboard (Figure 12). The computer is formatted to use Windows Media Player to view DVDs.

Sending video to PROJECTOR SCREENS - because the system is a 'dual projection' system, allowing your video image to be shown on LEFT SCREEN, RIGHT SCREEN, or BOTH projector screens. In the top middle portion of the controls, simply select Send to Left, Send to BOTH, or Send to Right screen button to send a signal to a specific video screen or screens (Figure 14). The system gives the lecturer the option to send separate signals to different screens but the most common display option will be a single image projected to BOTH screens simultaneously.

Figure 15

IMPORTANT POINT:To confirm the video source on each screen from the MAIN CONTROL PANEL, locate the "mini-boxes" located at the center top of the touch panel screen labeled "Left Screen" and "Right Screen" (Figure 15). Immediately below these indicators is the current video source being sent to that specific projector screen.
Blanking displays to video screen ñ to stop sending a signal to a screen (commonly referred to as ëblankingí, ëpicture mutingí, ëblack-outí) press the Blank Left or Blank Right button. The video screen will automatically retract to allow chalkboard or whiteboard use and gives lecturers freedom to walk in front of the room without being hit by the projector light beam. Pressing the Blank Left or Right buttons again will lower the screen and restore the display image output. (Figure 16)
