What does a BlackBerry wipe do?
Performing a BlackBerry wipe will purge email, contacts, calendar, and notes. This data will be restored when the device is set-up on the new Exchange server.
Other email accounts will also be wiped from the device and you will need to go the carrier (service provider) website and request all service books to be resent to your device. It is important to know that the browser bookmarks, SMS history, profile settings, phone history, and third party applications will all be removed. If a user has saved pictures and music to the device it will be removed in the process. If data has been saved to a media card, it can be restored from the media card.
SIM card contacts are not affected but blue tooth settings will be wiped and cannot be restored via backup.
Pricing
Austin BlackBerry service will cost $10.00 per month, in addition to the cost of the BlackBerry Enterprise Service-compatible data package from your wireless service provider.
