The Virtual Learning Resource Center (vLRC) offers 24x7 access to software needed for academic endeavors. Students and Faculty can use the virtual machines offered via the vLRC from anywhere on the campus networks and even off-campus once a VPN connection is established.
Setup
Students
This is a very quick and simple process and you only have to do it once.
Accessing vLRC
Visit https://vlrc.engr.utexas.edu/ and simply log in with your campus EID to access software and file storage.
vLRC is accessible from any computer on-campus or off-campus via a browser.
Recommended System Configuration
- Windows OS (XP or Vista)
(Mac and Linux support is forthcoming) - VPN (for off-campus)
- Internet Explorer 7 or better
