Jester and Kinsolving Academic Community Center Tutoring
Free tutoring and study groups are offered in Chemistry, Math, Physics,
Biology, Engineering Mechanics, Architectural, Aerospace, Biomedical, Civil,
Chemical, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering courses. These study
tables are staffed by engineering graduate students and upper class engineering
majors.
Free tutoring is available through the Cockrell School of Engineering departments. Tutoring is offered in select classes that are required in their degree plans.
Honor Society Tutoring
The honor societies in the Cockrell School of Engineering provide FREE drop-in
tutoring.

tutoring for many lower-division UT
classes.
Drop-In Tutoring is a free service to all currently enrolled
UT students. Located in JES A309A, the
Drop-in Tutoring Center offers an open study hall for students in introductory
math, physics and chemistry courses.
Get free tutoring through the Achieving College Excellence (ACE) Program in
The Office of the Dean of Students (tutoring coordinated by the UT Learning
Center). Please call 471-1205 for an initial appointment with an ACE staff
member.

Equal Opportunity in Engineering (EOE) Program Tutoring
Established to promote the recruitment, retention and academic development of students who come from historically underrepresented population groups in Texas, EOE supports students in the pursuit of academic excellence through the EOE Tutoring Program. Located in the Pi Sigma Pi Study Room (ECJ 1.216), the EOE Tutoring Program offers 2 hours of free tutoring per week for Basic Sequence and upper division engineering courses. One-on-one and group tutorial sessions are available. In order to request a tutor, students must fill out an application in the EOE Office or Pi Sigma Pi Study Room. Undergraduate Writing Center
The Undergraduate Writing Center provides professional advice on all aspects
of writing. Walk-ins are welcome. The Center is open Monday
-Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the Flawn
Academic Center 211.
Physics
There are physics coaching tables on the 5th floor of RLM
outside the elevators. Someone is there Monday – Friday. Check the tables for
specific schedules.
Simkins Tutorial Program
The Simpkins tutorial program meets every Tuesday from 5-7pm at Simkins.
Tutorials are offered in engineering, math, and science subjects. Tutors have
backgrounds in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Petroleum
Engineering. There is also a test bank that is still a work in progress. For

Computer Science
Upsilon Pi Epsilon provides free one-on-one tutoring in some CS classes. Tutoring is provided on a walk in basis free of charge. Their main focus is on CS 303E, CS 307, CS 315, CS 310, and CS 328. Located in Taylor Hall 3.128, tutoring times are Wednesday 6:30- 8:30 p.m.
