What do CE co-ops do?

UT Austin’s Civil Engineering co-ops have:

  • Participated in regional water planning; run water availability models and drafted water conservation plans (Freese & Nichols).
  • Performed hydraulic analysis of municipal wastewater collection system (Camp Dresser & McKee).

What do CE co-ops have to say about their experience?

“I think a co-op was a great benefit to me in that I was able to see how what I learned in class applied in the real world.  I also had never worked in a professional/office environment before, so it was really good for me to experience that.  I think a co-op is a great way to explore different specializations and figure out what you would like to pursue after college.” – Sarah Lothman, Freese & Nichols
