UT Austin approves creation of EOE Endowment

In Fall 2006, the Friends of Alec Equal Opportunity in Engineering Program Endowed Excellence Fund was established to support student development initiatives and scholarships.  Currently, EOE is supported by the Cockrell School of Engineering, corporate partners, and grants from the federal and state governments. Creating an endowment ensures that EOE will be self-sustaining and will continue to bring excellent programs to students.

How Endowments Work

With an endowment, the principal is never spent, only the earned interest. As long as the Cockrell School of Engineering exists, the FOA EOE Program Endowed Excellence Fund will directly support EOE initiatives.

Support the Long-Term Future of EOE
