  • EOE seeks current engineering student volunteers to assist with Longhorn Engineering: The Power to Shape Your World.
    Nov. 1st (Sat): 8am-4:30pm

     = This event serves underrepresented 11th and 12th graders in high school and seeks to recruit them into the Cockrell School of Engineering. 
     = Shift work is available between 8am-4:30pm
     = Volunteer options include: 
    (1) interact w/students during lunch & serve on a student panel
    (2) Assist w/ registration, greeting, student panel, dorm tours, etc.
     = All volunteers will be provided with a free lunch.

  • Office of Student Life seeks Juniors & Seniors to server on Engineering Leadership Team (website)
    - In spring 2009, OSL will offer “Ramshorn Retreats".  The focus of the half-day, on-campus retreats will be “What does it mean to be an Engineering LEADER?” and will provide opportunities for the first year students to begin exploring leadership from an engineering point of view.
    - Retreats will involve small group discussions led by upper division students on the “Engineering Leadership Team”.
