  • Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) (website)
    Presented by the UT San Antonio Graduate School

    UT Campus
     - CGI U is a project of the Clinton Global Initiative, created to challenge college students and universities to tackle global issues with new, tangible solutions.
     - CGI U will convene students, university officials, and global leaders from around the globe to catalyze Commitments to Action on the world's most pressing issues.
     - CGI U is recruiting volunteers! In order to volunteer, you must be available all day on Feb. 14th (SAT). Volunteer activities will begin the evening of Thursday, February 12th with volunteer training and continue throughout the weekend until the conclusion of the meeting on Sunday, February 15th.
    - Each volunteer, that is not assigned to volunteer during the event, will be invited to attend the Opening Plenary during which Former President Clinton is scheduled to speak.

  • Introduce a  Girl to Engineering Day (website)

    Feb. 21st (Sat):  2-5pm

    WEP Needs Your help!  We anticipate over 1,000 first through eighth graders participating along with parents, teachers, and counselors.  We need over 300 volunteers and lots of student organizations hosting activities to make Girl Day 2009 a success.  It's great fun plus you get a cool Girl Day t-shirt and entered in a drawing for lots of cool prizes.  Volunteer today!
