    National math competition increases enthusiasm for 290 6-8 grade students from every corner of Texas. Volunteers needed as graders, proctors, and the many other things that make this competition exciting.  Volunteer registration will be 7:309am @ Austin Airport Hilton.  We can use volunteers for all or part of the day.     Recruiting STEM graduate students & university faculty members to serve as mentors to undergrads.  Requirements include:
    -Commitment of 1 yr as a NASA Mentor to a MUST scholar (Beginning spring 2009)
    -Willingness to meet monthly (during the school year) with your protégé via email or phone and arrange for one face-to-face meeting per semester
    -Attendance of a 30 minute webinar orientation
    -Completing a brief online survey after each meeting
    -Must be a working faculty member or graduate student within the science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) disciplines
