Longhorn Engineering is a free one day campus event for high school juniors and seniors who are interested in learning how engineering is shaping our world and bringing ideas to life. African-American, Hispanic, and Native American students, as well as those who have overcome social or economic hardship are encouraged to participate. Longhorn Engineering is open to all students with an interest in engineering, math, and science. Parents will have the option of attending a parent session geared specifically for them.

- Interact with student leaders of Pi Sigma Pi Minority Academic Engineering Society, National Society of Black Engineers, and Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
- Expand your knowledge by attending multiple sessions focused on engineering
