Un Sabado Gigante in Engineering

Un Sabado Gigante in Engineering is a FREE outreach initiative designed to expose 500 plus Austin-area middle school students to science, technology, engineering, and math through a day of hands-on activities led by practicing engineers. This event includes a parent workshop which will provide information to parents about helping their children plan and prepare for college. The goal of Un Sabado is to serve the community by bringing together engineers and other professionals in an effort to inspire and encourage students to pursue careers in technical fields such as engineering.

Students and parents are encouraged to register online by November 7, 2009 at www.unsabado.org.
