Un Sabado Gigante in Engineering is an
outreach initiative designed to expose 500 plus Austin-area
middle school students to engineering through a day of
hands-on activities and personal contact with professionals
in engineering while simultaneously educating parents on the
advantages of encouraging students to attend college.
The goal of Un Sabado is to serve the community by bringing together engineers and other professionals in an effort to inspire and encourage students to pursue careers in technical fields such as engineering and science. Students, parents, and volunteers may register online at
