EOE GuideRight is a special information session for admitted engineering students and their parents/guardians who wish to learn more about the Equal Opportunity in Engineering Program and the Cockrell School. The event takes place Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 1:00-1:40 p.m. on The University of Texas at Austin campus. The program is free and occurs on campus during Explore UT -- the biggest open house in Texas.
During EOE GuideRight you will hear the inside scoop about engineering student life from student members of Pi Sigma Pi Minority Academic Engineering Society, the National Society of Black Engineers, and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. You will also learn about the services that the Equal Opportunity in Engineering (EOE) Program provides to engineering students and how we can help you in your transition from high school to college.
While on campus for EOE GuideRight, we encourage you to participate in the activities offered during Explore UT. It is a day-long, campus-wide program filled with fun and free activities for the entire family beginning at 11am. The Cockrell School of Engineering offers activities, demonstrations, lectures, tours, and events that will offer you a glimpse into what happens on campus. There is no registration required to participate in Explore UT activities.
