How to Apply to MITE

Applications for MITE 2012 are available from February 1 - April 2, 2012. 

Deadline:  All materials must be postmarked by Monday, April 2, 2012.  Late applications will not be accepted.

Criteria to Apply:

  1. Applicants must be high school sophomores or juniors when they submit their application.  Ninth grade students are encouraged to apply next year.
  2. Applicants must reside in the United States.
  3. Applicants must meet at least one of the following three academic criteria by the deadline in order for their application to be considered:
    a.) Score a minimum of 500 on the SAT Math section,
    b.) Score a minimum of 50 on the PSAT Math section (most students have taken the PSAT by the fall semester of their 10th grade year), or
    c.) Rank in the top 15%  percent of their class.
