How to Apply to MITE

The MITE application for 2017 is now closed.

  1. Applicants must be current high school juniors and reside in the United States at the time they submit their application. Sign up to receive more information from Texas Admissions.
  2. Applicants should meet at least ONE of the following academic criteria by the deadline in order for their application to be considered:
    a.) Score a minimum of 620 on the SAT Math section
    b.) Score a minimum of 620 on the PSAT Math section
    c.) Score a minimum of 26 on the ACT Math section
    d.) Rank in the top 10%  percent of their class
  3.  Complete an application. 
    a.) Online Application
    b.) Student Resume
    c.) Parent Acknowledgement Form (English or Spanish)
    d.) Recommendation Form completed by a science, math, or engineering teacher
    e.) High School Counselor Form
    f.) Official High School Transcript
  4. Additional Documents Needed after Acceptance Notice
    a.) Copy of Birth Certificate and/or Copy of Passport
    b.) Release and Consent Forms
