Research Opportunities

Undergraduate research offers the opportunity to apply knowledge learned in the classroom. Research is hands-on, more than just memorization or passing a test. You can work on your communication, technical and interpersonal skills as well.

Research opens doors and offers possibilities. You'll be a member of a team and meet others within your area of interest. This can set the stage for graduate school, internships, or presenting your work at conferences. Students involved in research have the opportunity to build a close relationship with a faculty advisor, enhance their resumes, and use the experience to become competitive applicants for graduate school.

EOE offers undergraduates several opportunities to get involved with research and contribute to the work being conducted by engineering professors. In addition, there are opportunities to conduct research at various institutions across the state and nation.
