Career Exploration

The Equal Opportunity in Engineering Program provides many opportunities for underrepresented students to gain engineering experience and network with engineers and recruiters in industry, in addition to preparing students for applying, interviewing and accepting job offers, using the training gained through EOE to make informed career decisions and develop networks needed to achieve career goals.

Career Development Seminar

Held in the fall semester, the Career Development Seminar is an introduction to career skills, including work style preferences, transferable skills and professional development.

Global Leaders Week Abroad

Global Leaders Week Abroad gives students the opportunity to visit another country and learn about the culture, history and engineering challenges specific to that region. Many of the program's participants each year has never before studied abroad, making it an especially rewarding opportunity for students.

EXPO 101

The EXPO 101 Workshop prepares students for the Cockrell School of Engineering's Fall Expo, the school's first career fair of the year.

Industry Super Bowl

The annual Industry Super Bowl is an interactive career development program that engages more than 100 students and 20 industry representatives in a series of competitions during a 24-hour period.
