The Friends of Alec (FOA) Equal Opportunity in Engineering Program Endowed Excellence Fund supports scholarships, student development initiatives, and jobs on campus for our engineering students. Creating an endowment ensured that EOE will be self-sustaining and able to continue to bring excellent programs to students. As an endowment, the principal is never spent, only the earned interest. As long as the Cockrell School exists, the FOA EOE Program Endowed Excellence Fund will directly support EOE initiatives.
Friends of Alec Annual Giving Makes a Difference
This past year more than $20,900 came in through the FOA Annual Giving Program to build the EOE Program Endowed Excellence Fund. Thank you to all alumni who generously gave to support EOE. We encourage our supporters to make a current-year gift and continue to support the EOE student community at The University of Texas at Austin.
Make a gift online or find out if your company has matching gift program. If so, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send a completed and signed form with your gift. Our FOA staff will do the rest. Matching gifts can double or possibly triple the effect of your gift.
