Dr. Jacob A. Abraham earned his Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computer science from Stanford University in 1974. He joined the faculty of The University of Texas at Austin in 1988. Abraham is the director of the Computer Engineering Research Center.
Abraham develops new techniques for generating high-quality tests for very large computer and electronic system designs, detecting and removing errors in the design, and dealing with faults during the operation of the systems.
