Academic Support Committee

 

The charge of the Academic Support Committee is to review matters pertinent to academic affairs of the School of Engineering (other than curricula and courses), particularly the Engineering Library, professional responsibility, and teaching effectiveness.

Tasks, Deliverables, and Schedule:

  1. Review proposals for Academic Development Funds submitted each Spring semester and select awardees for funding;
  2. Make recommendations on any other matters pertinent to support of the School's academic programs; and
  3. Prepare reports to the Dean on matters as necessary throughout the year and submit a final report of activities no later than the end of the spring semester.

Membership:

One faculty member from each department will be appointed to serve on this committee.  The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs will chair this committee.
