Come join us in a discussion with Kathy Schmidt of the Faculty Innovation Center and Des Lawler of the Civil Engineering Department to explore philosophies and techniques of teaching. We’ll examine the issues through the lens of cognitive science and recommended instructional practice. Our intention is to give you a framework to look at your own teaching and to see how recognized instructional methods can enrich your teaching.
