Committee Charge
The charge of this committee is to review matters pertinent to the recruiting, retention and graduation of historically underrepresented populations of engineering students.
Tasks, Deliverables, and Schedule:
- Make recommendations as needed or requested regarding the recruiting of historically underrepresented populations students to the Cockrell School of Engineering;
- Make recommendations as needed or requested regarding the retention of historically underrepresented populations students enrolled in the Cockrell School of Engineering;
- Make recommendations as needed or requested regarding the various programs of the Equal Opportunity in Engineering Program;
- Prepare reports to the Dean on matters as necessary throughout the year and submit a final report of activities no later than the end of the spring semester.
Membership:
At least one faculty member from each department and at least two students will be appointed to serve on this committee. The Director of the EOE Program will serve as an ex-officio member of this committee. The Chair of this committee will be appointed by the Dean.
