Committee Charge
The charge of this committee is to review matters pertinent to the recruiting, retention, and graduation of women engineering students.
Tasks, Deliverables, and Schedule:
- Make recommendations as needed or requested regarding the recruiting of women students to the Cockrell School of Engineering;
- Make recommendations as needed or requested regarding the retention of women students enrolled in the Cockrell School of Engineering;
- Make recommendations as needed or requested regarding the various programs of the Women in Engineering Program; and
- Prepare reports to the Dean on matters as necessary throughout the year and submit a final report of activities no later than the end of the spring semester.
Membership:
At least one faculty member from each department and the president of the Society of Women Engineers will be appointed to serve on this committee. The director of the WEP Program will serve as an ex-officio member of this committee. The Chair will be appointed by the Dean.
