Chevron has been an indispensable supporter of research, student organizations, scholarships and lab renovations within the Cockrell School of Engineering. Chevron is the No. 1 industry sponsor for research at the Cockrell School, and there are currently 550 UT engineering alumni working at Chevron, 20% of which have contributed to the Cockrell School and Friends of Alec in the last five years.
For decades, ExxonMobil has been an ardent supporter of the Cockrell School of Engineering and The University of Texas at Austin. We are the top supplier of engineers to ExxonMobil and in turn ExxonMobil is the top hirer of UT Austin engineers.
Today, there are over 700 Cockrell School alumni who are ExxonMobil employees or annuitants. They work in 40 different countries and over half are stationed in Texas.
