Student Organization Grants
Friends of Alec is offering $500 grants to Engineering Student Organizations. Five grants will be offered in both the Spring and Fall, and one during the summer. Awards will be made based on the use of the funds, number of students benefiting from the project and potential outcomes.
The winning student organization will need to write a brief article following their event/project. Photographs are encouraged. The timeliness of submitting the article and photos may influence future awards, so be sure to turn them in promptly if your organization receives a grant.

FIG Grants
Friends of Alec is offering $100 grants to Engineering First-year Interest Groups (FIGs). One grant will be awarded in the Spring semester (five grants will be given out in the Fall). Awards will be made based on the use of the funds and the developmental, academic, and social benefit to the FIG.
To apply for a Friends of Alec FIG grant fill out the FIG grant application.
Applications for the Organization Fall 2009 grant are due by October 2, 2009.
