Legacy Endowments

BECOME A LEGACY MEMBER TODAY!

Each new Legacy gift of $10,000 or greater establishes a Friends of Alec Legacy Endowment. A Legacy gift creates an endowment which means the principal is never spent, only the earned interest. As long as the Cockrell School of Engineering exists, Friends of Alec Legacy Endowment continue giving in the donor's name.

Most Friends of Alec Legacy Endowments have been established using corporate matching gifts. Alumni may pay their Legacy Endowment over a period of up to four years, taking full advantage of their corporate match. If you are interested in establishing a Friends of Alec Legacy Endowment, please contact Friends of Alec at (512) 475-6792 for a brochure and more details explaining the fund.

Legacy Endowments may be established to benefit any engineering department and some programs. See the Designations List for details.
