Using Webspace to Securely Send Data

A few of the Dean's Office staff have asked recently about sending sensitive information to people off campus.  Anytime you are sending sensitive information (like a transcript) you want to be very cautious since there are so many security concerns.

One easy way to send information securely to someone outside UT is by using Webspace tickets.

The College of Education has put together a great tutorial on how to do this.  You can find this online at http://www.edb.utexas.edu/education/centers/ltc/services/technet/tutorials/security/webspace-tickets/

If you ever have any questions about computer and data security, do not hesitate to contact me.
