February 2001 A tuxedoed James Bond (ASME Rube Goldberg team leader Michael Bruns), flanked by the Bond girls, poses with Q (Danny Booth, lower left) and the rest of the ASME team after winning the annual Rube Goldberg competition. Their James Bond-themed contraption, which takes 48 steps to select, wash and peel an apple, features a golden gun starting pistol, a martini glass, a golden Barbie doll, James Bond in a hang glider, and a walking Bev007.
