Dr. David Dolling, one of four University of Texas at
Austin aerospace engineering professors that received a $5 million, five-year
grant from the U.S. Air Force Office of Scientific Research to make space travel
cheaper by developing new engine concepts for the space shuttle. Wind tunnels,
like the one shown here, will be crucial to the testing of these new designs.
