PTS Fall 2009

Welcome all PTS members and pledges!

Upcoming Events

· 11/5/2009: Social Event

Meet at Crown & Anchor at 5pm. Come for free drinks and appetizers.

· 11/6/2009: Salt Lick Trip

Free dinner and 2 social points! An additional point for being a designated driver. Meet at 6pm at the loading docks, and be sure to RSVP to Joanna (j_tsenn@yahoo.com).

· 11/8/2009: Soccer with ASME

Counts as a social point and is located at the IM fields on Field 7. Be there before 6 pm and sign in with Matthias (mattes488@yahoo.com).

· 11/10/2009: Final General Meeting

The Business Foundations Program will be speaking in ETC 2.136 at 6pm. The constitution quiz given during this meeting! You must pass the quiz for initiation!

· 11/14/2009: Waller Creek Clean Up

Meet at the corner of 24^th and San Jacinto in front of the SER building. The event is from 8:30am to 11:30am. Sign up at the website, http://www.wallercreek.org, and fill out the registration page and liability form. If you have any questions, contact Kramer (KSchlaudt@mail.utexas.edu).

· 11/14/2009: Cheap Lunch

Come help out with cheap lunch. Volunteers are needed from 10am to approximately 1:00pm. If you can help out, e-mail Matthias (mattes488@yahoo.com).

· 11/24/2009: Possible Social Event

· 12/1/2009: Initiation and Banquet

Details will be coming as the date approaches. Be sure to have all your points and prerequisites fulfilled before this day!

Ongoing Events

· Every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: Maplewood Elementary

Maplewood Elementary is located at 3808 Maplewood Ave, Austin, TX 78722 from 2:45-4:00pm. Sign in at the front office to receive a badge to help out in Dr. Walker’s room. Please save the badge and give it to Kramer as proof of service. Each day has a different activity:

Monday: Robotics for boys
Wednesday: Robotics for girls
Thursday: Young Einsteins
