
Roden Membership Information
The Roden Leadership Program is currently seeking new members who have a commitment to developing leadership in themselves and in others.

Requirements for Membership:
To be eligible for the Roden Leadership Program, you must: • Be a full-time College of Engineering student in good standing. • Have completed two long semesters at the University of Texas at Austin. • Have demonstrated leadership, teamwork ability, and integrity.
Once selected, Roden Scholars are expected to participate in the program by: • Actively participating in weekly general and committee meetings. • Realizing and pursuing their own leadership goals within the context of the program. • Committing to the development of the program’s larger projects. • Making a significant contribution to the University through their participation.
How to Apply:
• Download a membership application (2008). • Return the last page of the membership application, along with your essay responses and involvement list to the Engineering Student Affairs Office, ECJ 2.200, no later than 5 pm on Friday, February 29, 2008.
Selection Process:
• Once all the applications have been reviewed, candidates will be selected for interviews and notified. • Interviews of selected candidates will be Monday and Tuesday March 3 and 4 between 5 and 8 pm.
*NOTE: You must be available during this time for a 15 minute interview.
