Program Director: Michelle Mansolo
Responsibilities: Management of undergraduate engineering scholarships, recruitment of high potential high school students, scholarship fundraising assistance, and management of graduate engineering fellowships.
Background:
Michelle Mansolo came to the Engineering Scholarship Program in December
2001, after one and a half years with Friends of Alec, the annual giving and
alumni relations area for the UT Cockrell School of Engineering.
After graduating
from Texas A&M University in 1996 with a B.S. in Journalism,
she worked for an independent oil
& gas company in the Dallas area. She then worked for The Dallas Opera, and
Southwestern University before coming to work for UT Austin.
Administrative Associate: Martha Queen
Responsibilities: Processing scholarship applications, maintaining scholarship and student application records, processing thank you letters, and various administrative assistance.
Background:
Veronica Casey came to the Engineering Scholarship Program
in October 2004, after
a year with the Center for Social
Work Research Center here at The University of Texas at Austin.
She graduated
from UT Austin in 2000 with a B.S. in
Radio/Television/Film and worked for
the College of Communication, Dean's Office for three years
after graduation.
