Denise R. Briceño has been with the Engineering Career Assistance Center (ECAC) since February 1996. Her primary responsibilities are assisting students individually and helping organize as well as present workshops about the different aspects of job search. In 2001, Denise received the College of Engineering Staff Excellence Award and continues to enjoy being part of a team that offers students a national award-winning recruiting system that won the National Association of Colleges and Employers annual award for technical innovation.
Denise has been an active member of the Texas Campus Career Council (TC3) at The University of Texas at Austin since 1998, and served as President from 2005-2006. She is also a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), and has served on committees with the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoACE).
Denise earned a Bachelor's degree in Guidance and Counseling and a Master of Education in Counseling from Texas State University. She has been with the University of Texas at Austin since August 1984.
