Pam Dahl is an academic adviser for the College of Engineering Office of Student Affairs. Pam manages the recently opened Academic Community Center in Kinsolving Residence Hall which offers advising and nightly study tables. In addition to coordinating the Engineering Honors Program, Pam oversees the course repetition policy, trains orientation advisers and meets with students for routine advising appointments. She received an Eyes of Texas Award in spring 2005.
Pam earned a bachelor's degree from Texas State University and a master's degree from The University of Texas at Austin. After teaching in public schools and community college, Pam returned to the University in 2001 to join the College of Engineering. Pam is a member of the Academic Counselors Association and Association of Professionals in Student Affairs, both at the university as well as the National Academic Advising Association.
