Beth Glenn is an academic adviser for the Cockrell School of Engineering Office of Student Affairs. She coordinates the Engineering Students with Disabilities Program, which provides testing accommodations for students registered with the Dean of Students Office. In addition, Beth coordinates group advising meetings for students with undeclared majors who are assigned to the School, assisting them as they transition to new majors. She also meets with students for routine advising appointments.
Beth earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in education from The University of Texas at Austin. She has been an academic adviser at the university for 13 years, joining the staff of the Cockrell School of Engineering in August 2005. Beth has taught and advised in the public school system, and worked in the business community. She is a member of the Academic Counselors Association and the Association of Professionals in Student Affairs, both at the university, as well as the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.
